TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms cover use of the online registration portal at indoor.kbc.org.pk (the "portal") for the Annual KBC Indoor Rowing Regatta, operated by the Karachi Boat Club ("KBC", "we", "us"). They do not replace the regatta's racing rules, which are set out in full on the portal's Rules & Fees section and the Rules page every team accepts before registering, or the declarations a team's representative signs on the Declaration & Entry Form.

Using the portal

The portal is for use by an authorized representative of a participating team — typically a coach or team captain — to register a team, build its roster, assign athletes to events, and generate the required forms. One account is issued per team. You are responsible for keeping your account's password confidential and for all activity submitted under your account; contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

Information submitted through the portal — athlete names, dates of birth, gender, event entries, and contact details — must be accurate. Providing false information (for example, an incorrect date of birth to gain access to a category) may result in disqualification of the athlete or team, at KBC's discretion.

Registration, review, and approval

Submitting a registration through the portal does not itself confirm a team's entry. Every submitted team is reviewed by the event administrator and may be approved or rejected (with a reason provided). KBC may also reopen an already-submitted or approved registration for correction where needed. Registration fees, calculated and shown on the portal's generated fee challan, are paid separately by bank transfer — the portal does not process any online payment, and payment is confirmed manually against KBC's bank records.

Eligibility & the Declaration Form

Every team must print, sign (and where applicable, stamp), and upload its Declaration & Entry Form before it can submit its registration. That form — not this page — is where a team's representative makes binding commitments on behalf of the team and its athletes, including confirming the accuracy of the information submitted, athletes' fitness to participate, anti-doping compliance, and parental/guardian consent for minors. Read it carefully before signing.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• access or attempt to access another team's account or data;
• upload any document or photo you do not have the right to submit;
• attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the portal or the server it runs on; or
• use the portal for any purpose unrelated to registering a team for the regatta.

Availability

We aim to keep the portal available throughout the registration window but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. If the portal is unavailable near the registration deadline, contact the Rowing Administration using the details below.

Intellectual property

The KBC name, crest, and the content of this site (other than information you submit about your own team) belong to the Karachi Boat Club and may not be reproduced without permission.

Liability

The portal is provided for the administrative purpose of registering teams for the regatta. Liability arising from participation in the regatta itself — including injury, illness, or loss — is governed by the waivers and declarations on the signed Declaration & Entry Form, not by this page.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the portal after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
